Our work currently supports two types of missions:

Our traditional one week medical mission trip. We hold medical, dental and vision clinics in the rural highlands of Guatemala. Most of our work is done north of Lake Atitlan, in the general area of Chichicastenango.

Hands of Healing also provides grants and scholarships. We make yearly site visits to our current grant partners. This year we will be visiting WINGS and Casa David, both located in Antigua. ALDEA, whose offices are in Chimaltenango, will take us to our site visit in the very rural town of Paquixic. We will then travel to Solola, spending the morning at the MAIA Impact School. Moving on to Panajachel, we will spend some time with the Director of Salud y Paz and visit with our scholarship recipient, Jackeline. It is through these site visits that we get a first hand look at the impact our grants are making in the lives of the underserved in Guatemala.
