Hands of Healing Medical Mission is a not for profit organization that needs and appreciates the financial support of sponsors. 100% of your donations go directly to offset the cost of medications and supplies. We also accept donations for our grant programs. If you would like to donate for a specific grant program, please email Lori Beese, the chairman on our grant program, and she will see that the funds are properly allocated.

GIFT OF MEDICATION - The Hands of Healing team takes and distributes medications to the indigenous people in rural areas of Guatemala. Over 80% of the indigenous people have NO Access to medical care. The most frequent causes of illness and death in Guatemala are due to treatable and or communicable diseases such as pneumonia, diarrhea, malnutrition and tuberculosis. 500 plus patients are treated in one week. $5000 is spent yearly on medications

GIFT OF SIGHT - The HOH team does eye exams, treatments for eye conditions and provides glasses to the indigenous people in rural areas of Guatemala. Indigenous people have NO ACCESS to vision care and services. Prescription glasses are made on location. Reader or sunglasses are provided. $3500 is spent yearly on these services

GIFT OF VITAMINS - The team delivers prenatal, infant, child and adult vitamins to the indigenous people in rural areas of Guatemala. The malnutrition rate in indigenous Guatemala is close to 70%. Over 58% of the children have growth stunting and cognitive impairment (up to 15 IQ points). Guatemalans can afford to eat only 1 meager meal per day, usually one corn tortilla. Prenatal and children’s vitamins have a significant positive impact or physical and mental development of children. Vitamins will increase the overall health of adults who are nutritionally deficient. $3000 spent yearly on vitamins for 500 people.
